3rd　Floor

Situated 20 meters above the ground, the third floor of the Rokkasho Visitors Center affords a breathtaking, 360-degree panorama.

East
You can experience a panoramic view of the nuclear fuel cycle facilities and the Pacific Ocean.

West
You can get a full view of the Mutsu-Ogawara Nationai Oil Storage Base and power generation windmills.
There are 51 oil storage bases.
There are 92 windmills in operation.

2nd　Floor

The entire second floor is called the Cycle Station.
The second floor also features games that allow you to learn many things about "Global environment and energy" and "Radiation"while having fun.

1st Floor and Basement

The first floor and basement of the Rokkasho Visitors Center introduce visitors to what is going on inside the actual nuclear fuel cycle facilities in Rokkasho Village with large-scale mockups, panels and other materials.

Access

By Train

It takes about 40 minutes by taxi or bus from Noheji Station. (*There aren’t many buses )

By Airplane

It takes about 50 minutes by taxi from Misawa Airport.
A flight between Haneda Airport, Tokyo and Misawa Airport takes about 1 hour 10minutes.

Open time 9:00-17:00.
Close day Every last monday of the month.
(If that day is a national holiday, the next day will be closed.)
Admission fee Free charge.
The tour time required About 40 minutes.
